Ganoderma boninense (G. boninense) is a soil-borne fungus threatening oil palm at the present. Oil palm Ganoderma disease, also known as stem root rot, is a deadly disease that can devastate oil palm plantations. The disease is caused by the fungus Ganoderma sp. It is crucial for oil palm farmers to be able to identify the early symptoms of this disease so that they can take appropriate preventive and control measures.
